On September 13, 2016 in the evening, Zhu Pei was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Towards a Critical Pragmatism: Contemporary Architecture in China" at Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) with Li Xiangning, Curator and Deputy Dean and Professor in History, Theory and Criticism at Tongji University College of Architecture and Urban Planning; Michael Hays, Eliot Noyes Professor of Architectural Theory at GSD; Antoine Picon, G. Ware Travelstead Professor of the History of Architecture and Technology at GSD. As the only one participating architect at the forum, Zhu Pei delivered a speech to introduce the design work of Jingdezhen Historical Museum of Imperial Kiln regarding its design concept and historical significance.
