Studio Zhu Pei's design work—Museum of Contemporary Art in Dali was chosen to exhibit in the “Zài Xīng Tǔ Mù”
On August 26, 2016, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Zài Xīng Tǔ Mù- Sixteen Chinese Museums, Fifteen Chinese Architects " is held at Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin. Curated by Eduard Kogel and conceptualized by Hans-Jurgen Commerell, sixteen Chinese new museums designed by fifteen Chinese architects are presented and interpreted through model showcasing, video interviews and oil paintings in the exhibition. The selected projects were chosen not alone for their formal novelty. They are also representative of certain aspects in current museum development that allow discussion of societal relevance, or impact on surrounding urban and rural contexts. As the architect and design principal of the museum, Zhu Pei attended the opening ceremony and discussed the museum of the 21st century.
According to Aedes Architecture Forum, the exhibition "Zài Xīng Tǔ Mù- Sixteen Chinese Museums, Fifteen Chinese Architects " will be held until October 13.
