On Sept. 10th, 2015, the opening ceremony of itinerant exhibition "The temperature of history: Central Academy of Fine Arts and Chinese Representational Painting" is held at Taimiao Art Museum. The exhibition is co-sponsored by Beijing Federation of Trade Unions and Central Academy of Fine Arts, presented by Working People's Cultural Palace of Beijing. There are more than 200 exhibits collected by Central Academy of Fine Arts, which is a systemic display of Chinese realistic oil painting in the twenties century.

Taimiao Art Museum is consisted of 9 ancient palaces of Ming dynasty, which are reconstructed while keeping the style, with total exhibition area of 6,000 square meters. Designed by Studio Zhu Pei, constructed by Beijing Federation of Trade Unions, Working People's Cultural Palace and Central Academy of Fine Arts. The positioning of the museum is exhibiting high-end, boutique art works, and cultural relics.
