798CUBE Art Museum has been featured on the cover of December issue of Architectural Journal and carried in-depth article in works column. In the article, Zhu Pei shares his reflections on the design of 798CUBE Art Museum, explaining his understanding of industrial architecture and art museum space, as well as the great potential of industrial heritage for the design inspiration of 798CUBE Art Museum.

Zhu Pei also described in detail the design process of the 798CUBE Art Museum. He believed that "the tension between the classic art museum space and the flexible multi-functional space will stimulate artists and curators’ desire to control the uncertain space, and take the art museum space as part of their own creative works to realize the consanguinity between the public, the artworks and the architectural space."
